In the Sunday Times survey dated 5th December 1999, "The Sunday TimesFast Track 100" the following appeared. "63rd. Tikit Legal Software Supplier. Tikit was founded in London in 1994 by computer consultant Alan Glass (photo) after he spotted a niche market for supplying software to the legal profession. New American software could computerise the vast amountof literature on which lawyers depend and Tikit set out to supply this to British Firms. It has now 26 of Britain's top 100 law firms as clients.Sales rose from £793,000 in 1995 to to £4.7m in 1998 when the companyemployed 29 people. Glass originally staffed his company with colleagues from Systems House,his former employer. Having poached people in this way, he says thissource of recruits may now have run dry. He motivates his staff with ashare scheme"
